Camp Hugh Reservation Information

Dear Christian Friend,

It is our pleasure to introduce you to Camp Hugh at Bunker Hill, Illinois. It is conveniently located approximately 30 to 40 minutes from Edwardsville, Alton, Collinsville and North St. Louis County.

The campground is located on thirty-four acres. There are dormitory style sleeping quarters for both men and women which can sleep approximately 85 in each building. There is also a small personal sleeping area below the the open-air Chapel which will accommodate three people.

We do not swim in the small lake but campers do like to fish and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. The campground also offers:

Two paddle boats (available for rent)
Four pavilions with picnic tables
Cut hiking trails in the woods
Swing set
Half basketball court
Sand volleyball court
Ball field with backstop
Horse-shoe pits
Tether ball
Four electrical R.V. hook-ups (additional fee)

RENTAL RATES

“A” Access        24 hours or 1 day (overnight)
                        Kitchen, Dining Room, Both Dorms, Chapel, Snack Shack,
                        Grounds and Lake. ----------------------------------------------           $250.00

Per person Per Day --------------------------------------------- $ .75

“B” Access Kitchen, Dining Room, Chapel, Grounds, Pavilions,
(8am-8pm) & Lake. Utilities included to noted building. $125.00

“C” Access Chapel, Grounds, Pavilions, and Lake. Utilities
(8am-8pm) included to noted buildings. $ 50.00

Lock-In Fee Per Day $ 25.00

Paddle Boats (2 boats are available) per boat per day $ 10.00

RV Hook-up (Electric only) per unit per day $ 4.00

Camp Capacity 173 (3 beds in the Chapel, 84 in the boys dorm, 86 in the girl dorm).

Insurance Prior to check-in, a Certificate of Liability Insurance from your Agent is required.

First-Aid State of Illinois requires you have a person qualified to administer First Aid if it is necessary.

Upon signature of application, you recognize that:

1) Camp Hugh or the Alton Association of General Baptist Churches will not be held responsible for injury or loss of personal property.

2) You become totally responsible for any damages or destruction of camp property and materials.

3) A deposit equal to 1 day’s reservation fee is required to place the group’s request on the camp calendar. The balance of rent is due at the time of check-in at the camp. Date will be penciled in, for 10 days pending receipt of deposit.

4) Deposit is not refundable unless approved by the Alton Association of General Baptist Camp Board.
